Caroline Lomboy, D.O. is an accomplished physician that has used her medical training, client relations, product knowledge and artistic skills to establish a successful career in body sculpting and aesthetic medicine.
Dr. Lomboy earned her doctorate in osteopathy at Des Moines University. Her post-doctoral training included a year of Osteopathic Internship and Internal Medicine residency at Wilson Memorial Medical Center in Johnson City, New York. She continued her internal medicine residency at Suncoast Hospital in Largo Florida. She also did a two year family practice residency program at University General Hospital in Seminole, Florida. Dr. Lomboy is a Diplomate of the Osteopathic National Boards.
Her extensive body sculpting training includes working with plastic surgeons John A. Millard, M.D. and Lisa Hunsicker M.D. at the VASER Institute/ Millard Plastic Surgery Center in Denver Colorado. She also trained with veteran plastic surgeons John Leikenson, M.D. and Jeffrey Scott M.D. at the Plastic Surgery Center in Sarasota, Florida. Dr. Lomboy has performed these body sculpting procedures since 2005. Dr. Lomboy was the first physician in the Tampa Bay Area to perform SmartLipo (laser lipolysis) in conjunction with ultrasound assisted lipolysis.
She was featured on ABC Action News with Linda Hurtado, NBC Health News with Irene Mayer, and Daytime’s Aging Backwards with Jackie Silver. She has been teaching other physicians her technique using VASER Liposuction throughout the Tampa Bay Area and Florida.
Dr. Lomboy strives to stay on the cutting edge of body sculpting technology and has been sought after by patients locally, nationally and internationally for her skills in liposuction and fat transfers. She is also experienced in non-invasive facial rejuvenation using injectable facial fillers, Botox and Dysport. She has experience in Laser and radiofrequency therapy for skin rejuvenation. She applies her knowledge of sound nutrition to achieve successful weight management. She understands and believes the importance of bioequivalent hormone replacement therapy for overall patient wellness and optimal health.
She received The Patient’s Choice Award for 2010 and 2011. She also received The Most Compassionate Doctor Award in 2010. Dr. Lomboy understands the importance of having the balance of beauty, well-being and energy for the later years in life.
